“Creating uncommon goods for the common good.
There’s no better artist than nature~
Since 2016, we have been specializing in small batch, ethically & sustainably sourced mixed metal wearables. Our jewelry has been thoughtfully curated from our home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC.
At MergingMetals, we do just that, merge metals with organic materials through the process of 'electroforming'. Rugged & raw materials are transformed into wearable works of art. Our lovingly handcrafted jewelry explore a varied range of shapes, sizes, colors & textures. In a throw away society, we want to highlight the use of found, forgotten & abandoned materials. We want to show that sustainability & recyclability are more than just words, they are a way of life.
Good for you and good for the planet: Copper is our oldest ore and occurs in pure form. It has long been known to have therapeutic benefits for the body. The antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of copper make it a sought-after metal. Copper can infinitely be recycled without any loss of its original mined quality.

Labradorite is known for its play of beautiful and lustrous colors like those of the Northern Lights. Named after a region in Labrador, Canada, where it was discovered in 1770. Labradorite is said to banish fears, insecurities and also the psychic debris from previous disappointments, including those experienced in past lives. Cicadas as spirit guides are said to aid in the development, recognition, and emergence of the self throughout the various phases of the life cycle.
Cicadas measure approximately 1.75" x 0.75". "
