Aphrodite is often considered the Goddess of: love, grace, beauty, art, poetry, music, and sensuality.

Aphrodite is often associated with Greek mythology. The Roman equivalent to Venus.

It is often believed the Aphrodite was born from the sea when Cronus (Titan) attacked Uranus (the heavens/sky) with a sickle and cast the parts needed to create Aphrodite into the sea, and Aphrodite rose from the Aphros (or foam). Some say she is the daughter of Zeus (the King of 12 Olympian Gods, and the God of thunder, weather, law, and order) and Dione (Titan Goddess and healer of the immortals). Aphrodite is said to also be known to help energetically protect those that travel by sea, and s-- workers.
