Gaia is often associated with Greek Mythology.

Gaia is often considered the Goddess of: motherhood, offspring, the earth, the weather, and nature.

Gaia is considered the goddess of the earth. Often said to be born at the dawn of creation, having emerged from the swirling chaos, or the void laid out before her. Gaia is often said to be the mother of all - both of the Gods and mortals. 

Pontus - or the Sea, Uranus - or the Heavens/Skies, and Ourea - or the mountains were all born from Gaia. Uranus is said to have became the husband of Gaia and together they created the Titans.
