Bluing Squares are often worked with for enhancement of luck, cleansing, protection from the evil eye, and bad dreams.

Different ingredients can be combined with the bluing to enhance different intentions - for example combine Hyssop and Kosher salt with bluing makes for a powerful cleansing bath.
